Meet your tour guide at the back of the French Quarter for your Haunted History Tour. The walking tour will give you a glimpse into the dark times here in New Orleans when both murder and yellow fever ran rampant throughout the French Quarter. During the tour pass through a 200 year old haunted house once owned by the mafia here in the city. After the tour you will understand why New Orleans is considered the most haunted city in the country.
Take a ride with one of our licensed tour guides out to the plantations. Take the scenic route, through the swamplands and past many plantations along the Mississippi River. Our New Orleans Plantation Tour gives you an option between visiting Oak Alley and Laura Plantations or Oak Alley and Evergreen Plantations. The price includes entry and guided tours of both plantations. Experience what life was like on a plantation here in Louisiana while exploring the grounds and maybe enjoying a mint julep.
Get picked up in front of your hotel and enjoy a New Orleans City tour from the comfort of our air conditioned minibus. Get out and stroll through the cemetery as well as through City Park. Learn about our culture, history, architecture, food, and more. On the tour visit the French Quarter, Garden District, lakefront, and see where one of the levees broke during Hurricane Katrina. Our City and Cemetery tour is given by one of our experienced tour guides with small group sizes.
Check out other tours we offer. Want to see some of the local wildlife and vegetation such as alligators and wild boar? Hop on an airboat tour and speed through the swamps or get on a swamp tour for a more relaxing ride through our swamplands. Maybe take a steamboat cruise up and down the Mississippi River while listening to some local jazz.
We checked out a few tour agencies on the mornings we wanted to go visit the Plantations and are so glad we picked New Orleans Native Tours! The tour guide, Christophe, was friendly and made you feel comfortable with his relaxed approach and went out of his way to explain the history, culture of New Orleans and historical sites and was kind enough to give us tips on good places to eat out in New Orleans too. We had a great time at the Plantations (Laura, Oak Alley, as well as the others we passed on the way) and there was plenty of time for exploring and taking photos. The tour bus was clean, new, very comfortable and the guide was nice enough to play jazz music on the way back to New Orleans which put us all in super relaxed mode after an enjoyable day out. New Orleans is such a magical place to visit, with so much history and this is the tour to take if you want a great experience!
Looking for a few great tours in NOLA? Don't miss New Orleans Native Tours. We took the French Quarter Haunted Tour and the City Cemetery Tour. The French Quarter tour is a walking tour. Not dressed up and ridiculous, just focus on history, factual murders and incidents, as well as some of the rumored ghost stories associated with them. Some from the 1700 and 1800s some as recent as hurricane Katrina. The city tour picks you up directly from your hotel in a 25 passenger minibus, more comfortable than a little van. We drove through the garden district, stopped for a tour at a cemetery, saw one of the sites of a levee breach, enjoyed beignets in City Park and wandered through the Sculpture Garden. Also includes a drive through Jackson Square. Great tour, highly recommend! Don W., Cincinnati, OH
Took two friends from out of town to see the city with New Orleans Native Tours. We enjoyed the comfortable ride and personal service. The guide was fun and knowledgeable and so nice. We had a wonderful afternoon. We then took their haunted walking tour of the French Quarter. Great history and chilling true stories. A well rounded tour. Kat C., New Orleans, LA
Our tour guide, Christophe, was amazing, informative and helped to make our New Orleans stay a success. Our party of 10 took the walking French Quarter Haunted Tour on a Friday night using a Groupon deal. We enjoyed it so much that we booked the City/Cemetery tour on Sunday. The Friday night tour at 8PM was a great way to start the evening and left plenty of time after to hit Bourbon Street and enjoy late night eats. We hit all the hot haunted spots, including those made famous by American Horror Story: Coven. For the City/Cemetery tour, Christophe drove the group around the city and its outskirts in a 21-person bus that's very clean and comfortable. We had walked the city so much over the weekend and quiet a few of us were hung over that the tour was the best way for us to enjoy our last hours in New Orleans. We learned a ton and were able to enjoy parts of New Orleans that we didn't know existed. Christophe is extremely knowledgeable about New Orleans...continually giving the perspective of someone who was born and raised in the City.
